Industrial digital UV inkjet label printing has continued to evolve to meet the demands of the industry, and Durst is has brought two powerful technologies to LOUPE Americas. The products are designed to help converters maximize efficiency and quality while enabling them to further expand their capabilities and offerings.
Making its highly anticipated North American debut, the Tau G3 Peak represents the next evolution in Durst Tau technology. Engineered for converters seeking the highest levels of quality, productivity, and profitability, the G3 Peak delivers exceptional 1200 dpi print resolution, excellent color consistency, speeds of up to 382 fpm.
The G3 also comes equipped with some new productivity features: Durst ARC (Automatic Register Control) and Durst MEP (Material Edge Protection) make operation easier while boosting productivity.
This marks the first time the Tau G3 Peak is being demonstrated in the United States. Durst is giving attendees an exclusive opportunity to experience its performance firsthand.
Joining G3
Alongside the G3 platform, Durst is also featuring the KJet, which is the ultimate hybrid solution built to deliver flexibility, efficiency, and reliability for all label converting environments. Engineered to streamline operations and be easy to operate, while maintaining enhanced output quality, the KJet offers endless possibilities for labels and packaging without compromising performance or print quality, the company states.
Completing the Durst lineup is Durst Workflow Label and Durst Analytics software. Durst’s software ecosystem is designed to connect production, automate processes, and provide greater visibility throughout the workflow. By combining hardware, software and intelligent production solutions, Durst continues to provide label converters with the tools needed to improve efficiency and build a more connected production environment.
“Durst has been a driving force in digital label production for decades,” comments Steve Lynn, executive director, Durst North America. “We continue to invest in R&D and the results are powerful solutions that move our customers and the industry forward. The introduction of the Tau G3 platform is an example of this, along with the KJet, which we successfully introduced two years ago. This year at LOUPE, we are not only showing what is possible today, but what is next. As we celebrate 90 years of innovation, we look forward to sharing our vision and future with the label industry.”
